| Detroit Drawings: Detroit Drawings is an ongoing series of digital drawings and paintings documenting monuments (and anti-monuments) in the brilliant Motown city and its surrounding areas. I grew up in Metro Detroit, attended high school in the city on 7-Mile and Livernois, and like almost everyone from the Dirty, I too have a strange connection to its greatness as well as its grit. Prints are 2x2 feet, but dimensions can be altered if absolutely necessary. Why would I deny you such things? I don't believe in punishment, unless it is wanted, mutually agreed upon, and we are naked as primitives. First editions (2011) are part of the private collection of E. C. Holmes in Boston, MA. |
