Installing Branded DVD Player in Exhibition Without Invitation: Installing Branded DVD Player in Exhibition Without Invitation is a subtle (or not so subtle) interventionist piece that was installed without curatorial permission in the Harry Wood Gallery in May of 2011 during the Summer MFA Juried Exhibition, juried by Sara Cochran, curator of the Phoenix Art Museum. Piece was dropped into the space and left to exist as part of the summer exhibition. I captured 3 photos with my phone immediately after the piece was successfully installed. The DVD piece lived (and intervened) for a blissful 74 hours in the gallery space. >>Click on adjacent images for true pleasure.
