The Intelligible Realm Revisited: The Intelligible Realm Revisited is a multi-channel video installation that draws significantly from Plato's Book VII of The Republic reworking narrated text from the Allegory of the Cave and juxtaposing the recounting to a series of intertwined videos of the artist's contemplative meanderings about town. Through the exploration of the nature of ideas, sensation of the material world, and issues pertaining to perception and reality, the video piece examines the metaphysical subjects of knowledge, understanding, and the pursuit towards establishing one's identity in an unfamiliar place. (Each square in the included image represents one video channel; all four videos run simultaneously for a duration of 1:58 looping perpetually during the exhibition).
