| The Religion & Stigmata Series (#1-21): The Religion & Stigmata Series is a collection of multimedia sculptures comprised of nails, wood blocks, and my blood. Nails are hammered into the wood and kissed by the Holy Man upstairs, the blood sublimely flowing from the holes. It's like the Pio of Pietrelcina of wood blocks. Intended to overtly call into question the "miraculous," the "divine," and the "supernatural," these sculptures mimic the stigmata, the bodily marks and sores corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus Christ.
